Author of Children and Adult Inspirational Literature

Charmaine J. Ramsey
is a high-spirited sister and mother who has always enjoyed the art of
writing. Her writing began as a teenager when she developed a passion
for poetry. It wasn’t until 1991 that she first entered the realm of
children’s stories and adult inspirational works. Her first book
release was a children’s book entitled, "Emo Goes For A Walk" in 2005. Her first adult inspirational book entitled, "A Sister's Blessing, The Spirit Within: A Journey With Grace", released in December of 2006, is one that is very close to her heart. Charmaine's second children’s book entitled, "Buster, The Big Yellow School Bus",
was released in January of 2007. The author resides in Cuyahoga Falls,
OH with her husband. She has three daughters, one of which is a
published author as well. Born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, she has been
a long-time resident of the Akron-Cleveland area, as well as a member
of the Society of Children‘s Book Writers & Illustrators.
She enjoys classroom presentations where she is able to provide fun,
and entertainment, as well as learning for children through her books.
Her passion for poetry is acknowledged in her award winning poems
published in, New American Poetry Anthology, World Treasury of Great
Poems, and her latest, America at the Millennium, of which she was
honored Editors Choice Award.
